Our 9-Day Lemosho Route offers both Standard and All-Inclusive Packages, allowing each climber—whether solo or in a group—to select their preferred option.
We depart from Arusha, embarking on a 3-4 hour drive to Lemosho Gate (7,742ft / 2,360m). After registration, we begin our trek through the lush rainforest to Mti Mkubwa Camp (9,498ft / 2,895m).

We leave the rainforest and ascend to Shira 1 Camp (11,500ft / 3,505m), crossing into the Moorland Zone. Continuing on, we reach Shira 2 Camp (12,621ft / 3,847m), where we enjoy panoramic views.

We continue our gradual ascent across the Shira Plateau, reaching Shira 2 Camp (12,621ft / 3,847m), where we enjoy breathtaking panoramic views.

Unlike the 8-day route, we take an extra day for acclimatization. We hike to Lava Tower (15,190ft / 4,630m), then descend to Moir Hut (13,780ft / 4,200m) for additional altitude adjustment. This extra day significantly improves summit success rates.

We hike from Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp (13,066ft / 3,983m), stopping for lunch at Lava Tower (15,190ft / 4,630m). The descent to Barranco helps with acclimatization.

Our journey continues with a climb up the Barranco Wall, a non-technical but exhilarating section. We then proceed to Karanga Camp (13,106ft / 3,994m) for rest and acclimatization.

We ascend to Barafu Camp (15,239ft / 4,644m), our final stop before the summit push.

We begin our summit ascent at midnight, reaching Uhuru Peak (19,341ft / 5,895m) by sunrise. After celebrating our achievement, we descend via Stella Point to Mweka Camp (10,204ft / 3,110m).

After breakfast, we descend to Mweka Gate (5,423ft / 1,653m), where we sign the Kilimanjaro National Park Register and receive a certificate of completion.
